CalorieWala ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

• Account data: email address used for sign in and account management.
• App data: meal logs, water logs, activity logs, nutrition goals, and preferences.
• Images: food images you choose for analysis.
• Diagnostics: crash and performance diagnostics for app reliability.

2. How We Use Data

• Provide calorie and nutrition analysis features.
• Sync your records across your signed-in devices.
• Improve app stability and fix bugs.
• Enable reminders and core product functionality.

3. AI Processing

Food images and relevant meal content may be sent to third-party AI endpoints to generate analysis results. We use this only to provide app functionality requested by you.

4. Data Storage and Security

User data is stored in Firebase services with access controls tied to your authenticated account. We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with service providers required to operate the app, such as authentication, database, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and AI processing providers.

6. Your Choices

• You can delete meal data and app records from within the app.
• You can delete your account from Settings. This permanently removes your account data.
• You can disable notifications in app settings or device settings.

7. Children

CalorieWala is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
